About Me

Hey, I’m Jen. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude, after completing my undergraduate studies at Lafayette College. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in sales on Wall Street — a fast-paced chapter that showed me firsthand how deeply the stress and pressure of New York City can shape our inner world.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, self-esteem and relationship challenges with a blend of evidence-based care and genuine connection.
My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with Dr. Alec Miller, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through the University of Pennsylvania’s Medical School for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, and specialized work at Yale University School of Medicine’s Center for Addiction. These approaches inform my practice, but the heart of my work is collaboration — meeting each client where they are and helping them build tools that actually work.
I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents in inpatient care at Four Winds Hospital, leading DBT programs in schools, working in therapeutic foster care, and supervising clinicians in the Bronx. My experience across public, community and private schools in New York City has deepened my understanding of neurodiversity and the unique strengths of individuals with different learning profiles. Today, I continue this work at an independent high school on the Upper East Side, alongside my private practice.
I strive to create a space that feels calm, inclusive, and attuned – a place where all clients, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from diverse backgrounds, feel seen and supported. My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all, it’s grounding and empowering, combining warmth and empathy with practical, research-driven care for real life.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m a dedicated fundraiser and advocate for Movember, an organization close to my heart focused on suicide prevention and men’s mental health. I’ve run three full marathons in support of this cause. When I’m not working or moving my body, I love spending time in Central Park, at the beach with my family, or in the kitchen as an enthusiastic home baker who believes dessert is a love language. I live in New York City with my husband and our perfectly adorable Frenchie, Theo.

“I have been working with Jen for over 4 years and I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with her. She is kind, incredibly thoughtful, and takes a mindful approach in helping you with anything you might be struggling with or need help navigating. She has helped me become more confident in myself and in my decision making through my career, relationships, and everyday life. She supported me through the challenges of moving to a new city, building relationships, and making a major career pivot—and she continues to support me as I navigate life’s ongoing transitions. Jen has helped me expand my ways of thinking, which in turn has created more opportunities for me and made me a better person. She is a great thought partner and incredible therapist, I highly recommend!”
I highly recommend Jen as a therapist. As an LCSW, she combines warmth, curiosity, and genuine empathy in every session. She has an incredible ability to listen deeply and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard.“

“The best thing I can say about Jen is she’s a chameleon to her clients’ needs. She knows the right questions to ask because she actively listens and is able to trace back to previous sessions to help understand how I’m feeling. Jen is also more than generous with her time and genuinely cares about my well-being!“
